Literary analysis "If I Stay"

The plot of  "If I Stay "  is first mia and her family were on their  way to their friends house to see the baby .On the way there they got into a freak accident . The girl woke up but as a like a spirit .She was wondering why there wasn't a drop of blood on her or why no one would listen to her when she tried to talk to them . She saw her mom's  body she was dead ,so was her dad ,her brother they took him to the hospital ,she was confused about why she saw her body all bloody and a little torn up. She then started to wonder if she was dead could she transport her self to where ever she wanted to go she then tried and nothing .Once they took her body in the helicopter to the ICU . Her little brother didn't make it she was the last of her family if was her choice  if she should start or if she should go .She had many reasons to stay .She has her boyfriend ,her grandparents ,her best friend, But she also had reasons to gour her mom , her dad , and her brother.  This was her tough decision to either push through and wake up or to go .

3. I believe Gayle Forman wakes up early drinks coffee and waits to see if anything inspiring happens to write down and maybe form into a new book or add to a book she hasnt finished . I think her tone was love because Mia finds a reason why she wants to stay and thatsee her boyfriend Adam she couldn't imagine being without hime even though they have had there ups and downs

4. Euphemism : there's this one part in the movie where mia's dad and Adam go play  basketball and as they are Adam gets stung by a bee and mia's dad sucks the stinger out and when they got home Adam told mia he felt weird because he has been more intimate with her dad than her because they have never kissed or anything 😂
 Foreshadowing : close to the end mia is choosing Wethersfield to stay or go she quickly sees a light outside and heads for it she's already about to open the door and just go but, the   in the hospital her boyfriend Adam puts headphones on her and plays Yo Yo ma's recital and she heads back because she figures out that she has reasons to stay .




The thing that drew me to this book was I watched the movie and I wanted to see the differences between the book and the movie and I love through all the stuff mia and Adam go through they still stay with each other because they know how much they love each other
